Party Punches

Citrus-Cinnamon Punch

Cinnamon flavors lots of holiday drinks, from eggnog to mulled wine. Here it appears in a juicy punch that’s delicious spiked with Grand Marnier or Cognac

Sparkling Pomegranate Punch

Maria Helm Sinskey and her husband, Rob (co-owner of Napa’s Robert Sinskey Vineyards), serve their wine at parties. But she also offers refreshing punches like this one, made with tart-sweet pomegranate juice and finished with Prosecco.

Rum Punch

This recipe is easy to multiply for crowds. To ensure that a large batch stays chilled without becoming watery, serve it in a punch bowl set in a larger bowl of crushed ice.

Puente Punch

This creamy cocktail is named after the late timbale-banging band leader Tito Puente, who popularized Latin music around the world. Mixologist Cyrus Keyhari uses aged Dominican rum to give depth to what he calls “a grown-up Orange Julius.”

Philadelphia Fish House Punch

Cocktail historians Paul Harrington and Laura Moorhead trace this cocktail back to 1732, when Philadelphia's Schuylkill Fishing Club began every meeting with a bowl of this potent punch.

Kill Devil Punch

Bartender Phil Ward is obsessed with traditional recipes, which he learns by heart (he has a photographic memory), then tweaks. He cools his Kill Devil Punch with a block of raspberry ice that releases berries into the bowl as it melts.

Brandy-Wine Punch

When making a punch, opt for affordable, high-quality wines and spirits.
